How does the licensing work?

When a customer purchases your Expert Advisor, all he needs to provide is the name of the brokerage and the account number. You take that information to generate a license, which takes 1-2 minutes. Then you upload the license to our server. That's it!

OneStepRemoved.com modifies your existing EA so that it searches our server for permission to trade. If the customer's account number or broker do not match, the Expert Advisor refuses to make any calculations. If the customer is legitimate and using the EA as intended, the file works just like the original.

Why is there a monthly hosting fee?

The monthly hosting enables your Expert Advisor to check a remote computer for permission to trade in a customer's account. The feature requires a reliable server and constant bandwidth. Your monthly fee offsets the costs of providing this ongoing service.

Why can't I use the MetaTrader encryption (.ex4 files)?

You can. In fact, we provide this service to our programming clients at no additional charge. This solution is perfectly fine if you only charge a one-time fee.
