MetaTrader Chart Codes
The time frames used in MetaTrader are relatively straight forward. A lot of traders like to reference charting times using the same conventions. The table below explains the codes that MetaTrader uses as well as an explanation in English. If you want to create a time frame option that MetaTrader does not offer by default, then you need to use an offline chart.

| M30 | Thirty/30 minute chart |
| H1 | One/1 hour or Sixty/60 minute chart |
| H4 | Four/4 hour or two hundred and forty minute/240 minute chart |
| D1 | Daily/24 hour or a 1440 minute chart |
| W1 | Weekly or 10080 minute chart |
| MN1 | Monthly or 43200 minute chart |
